Here is a complete, detailed listing of the services that I can provide to your chess tournament:

Tournament Direction

USCF certified Senior Level Tournament Director to ensure that your tournament is run in compliance with the USCF rules (5th Edition).

Pairing/Running Tournament

Through the use of WinTD, a USCF compliant chess tournament pairing application, I can ensure your tournament is paired accurately and promptly.

CDs/Bulletins

A Tournament CD that includes games played at the event in both ChessBase (version 8 or above) and pgn format for players to view on their favorite chess playing programs and cross tables/results from the event.  I also place print quality photographs on every CD for players to view and obtain good quality mementos that will last a lifetime!  I can also produce good quality Tournament Bulletins (please note that the Bulletin service is very time consuming and may mean that other services cannot be provided) for players to purchase onsite, please see the examples on the CDs/Bulletins page.  The CDs will be available for purchase during the tournament or online via this website after and are guaranteed to be mailed within a couple of days after the end of the tournament!

Jerry Hanken, regular Chess Life Columnist, stated in the September 2006 Issue (page 37) "The games that you have seen would not have been so readily available were it not for Chris Bird, who lives and works in Las Vegas.  Chris does not travel because of the restrictions of his employment, but if he did, he would certainly have other tournaments eager to feature his fine chess work.  Chris is also an excellent photographer, and the many excellent pictures he took that appear in the Bulletins (the best set I've ever seen, and I've never said that before) are witty, full of information, and many of the games have notes produced by Fritz."  (Since the article was produced I have relocated to Massachusetts.)

MonRoi Monitoring (more information at www.monroi.com)

The MonRoi Move Recording System is now both FIDE and USCF certified for use at their tournaments.  This system provides an electronic way for the players to record their games and, through the use of the MonRoi Tournament Manager equipment, have their games broadcast live over the Internet via the MonRoi World Databank of Chess.  This system also provides an opportunity for advertisers to have their logos placed on the MonRoi website thereby giving the organizer another way to get exposure for those valuable contributors.
